In what circumstances will a police report be considered to be in compliance with Section 67 of the Public Prosecutions Act?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Watson v. British Columbia (Superintendent of Motor Vehicles), 2002 BCSC 947 (CanLII):

In the circumstances of this case I am of the opinion that Section 67 applies, and the report to the Superintendent should be received into evidence as being in compliance with Section 94.3(d) of the Act. In the result I find that the report of the police officer was properly before the Adjudicator and could properly be taken into account by her in coming to her decision. SWORN v. UNSWORN EVIDENCE
