In Nitsopoulos v. Wong 2008 Carswell Ont 5257, the plaintiffs brought an action for invasion of privacy arising from the publication of a newspaper article written about them by the plaintiff. The defendants brought a motion to dismiss the claim on the basis that there was no such cause of action at common law.
