By virtue of the findings I have made I need not to develop this issue at length. I would, however, have significant misgivings about granting what is, at its core, equitable relief to a party who has been manipulative and dishonest in its dealings with another party and who subsequently seeks to benefit from that conduct. In BMF Trading v. Abraxis Holdings Ltd., 2002 BCSC 590, retrial ordered on other grounds, 2003 BCCA 559, Madam Justice Garson said:
