The parties agree that the standard of review is correctness on any question of law for both the appeal and cross-appeal; however, most errors related to a misapprehension of evidence would not be regarded as involving a question of law and, hence, are entitled to deference, absent palpable and overriding errors: McMaster-Pereira v. Pereira, 2021 ONCA 547, at para. 20.
