What is the standard of review for a motion to appeal against a finding by a judge at the Court of Appeal?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from R. v Thornton, 2015 ONSC 358 (CanLII):

The standard of review requires that an appellate court should not interfere merely because it would have reached a different result and should only interfere if the trial judge made a finding that is unsupported by the evidence or that is unreasonable and would have affected the result. (See Housen v. Nikolaisen, 2002 SCC 33 (CanLII), [2002] 2 S.C.R. 235 at para. 56).
