Is a school district required to provide a reasonable accommodation for a child with special educational needs?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from A and B obo Infant A v. School District C (No. 5), 2018 BCHRT 25 (CanLII):

The School District is not required to provide the perfect accommodation, but rather, reasonable accommodation under the circumstances: Allen v. UBC, 2013 BCHRT 90, para. 55. Based on all of the evidence before me, the Respondent has demonstrated that it did everything it reasonably could have to accommodate the Child: BC (Public Service Employee Relations Commission) v. BCGSEU 1999 CanLII 652 (SCC), [1999] 3 SCR 3.
