Second, the Offer relies on the expression “old money”. That expression is not found in any legislation. It is an expression that has, I was told, never been explained or developed in any legal authority though the words “new money” were considered in Blenkarn v. Mills, 2017 BCSC 1904 at para. 4. I was also provided with no opinion or evidence that gave meaning or content to these words.
