The following excerpt is from Brown v. Normanview Daycare Corp., 1986 CanLII 2894 (SK QB):
A person being discovered has an obligation to inform himself on all matters material to the issues; however, invariably that person does not have all the information required by the examining party and undertakes to provide it at a later date. Much time is wasted in this procedure and it would be helpful for the person being examined to have resource persons available at the examination to inform him on these matters (see: Miles v. Miles, [1960] O.W.N. 57).
