What is the time frame for determining whether the accused is tried within a reasonable time?

Saskatchewan, Canada

The following excerpt is from R. v. Landrie, 1987 CanLII 4815 (SK QB):

On the authority of Mills v. The Queen and Carter v. The Queen, I find the time frame to be considered in calculating whether the accused is tried within a reasonable time runs from the date that the informations were sworn on May 15, 1986 with respect to the first four counts in the indictment and from November 6, 1986, the date on which the last information was sworn, with respect to count 5 in the indictment.
