In Manchur v. Manchur, 2001 BCSC 1607, Quijano J., following Kowalewich, determined that the proper way to proceed to determine the husband’s income for the purposes of the Guidelines was first “to have regard to the pre-tax corporate income and then to consider the legitimate business needs of the company”.
