Section 1054.1 requires the prosecution to disclose certain categories of evidence to the defense, including "[t]he names and addresses of the persons the prosecutor intends to call as witnesses at trial," "relevant real evidence seized or obtained as part of the investigation," and "[r]elevant written or recorded statements of witnesses or reports of the statements of witnesses whom the prosecutor intends to call at the trial." ( 1054.1, subds. (a), (c), (f).) This last category encompasses unrecorded oral statements made to counsel by a witness that counsel intends to call at trial. (Roland v.
