Is child support for the purposes of spousal support appropriate?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from Schmiemann v. Schmiemann, 1994 CanLII 9238 (AB QB):

The contract affords strong evidence, but if I am convinced that the child support is too low, I should rectify that: Willick v. Willick (1994), 1994 CanLII 28 (SCC), 173 N.R. 321; 125 Sask.R. 81; 81 W.A.C. 81 (S.C.C.).
