A demand under Rule 7-1(11) requires the applicant to demonstrate a connection between the documents sought and the issues beyond a mere possibility. There must be an “air of reality” between the documents and the issues in the action: Addison v. Whitefox Technologies Ltd., 2014 BCSC 633 at para. 28.
