Is a breath demand written by a police officer not an official sanctioned wording for breath demands?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Byron v British Columbia (Superintendent of Motor Vehicles), 2017 BCSC 1125 (CanLII):

While I note that adjudicators are entitled to take notice of the contents of the cards carried by police officers providing officially sanctioned wording for breath demands (Taylor v. British Columbia (Superintendent of Motor Vehicles), 2004 BCCA 641, at para. 16), for adjudicators to take notice of the contents of the cards carried by police officers they need to know which card they are taking notice of. It is fundamental that the record be clear which card is being referred to, in order for adjudicators to take notice with any degree of certainty.
