[40] The case of Woo v. Chin, supra, involved a complex series of events spanning 10 years after the parties’ separation during which each spouse violated court orders or concealed important facts and each party at separate times failed to meet his or her child support obligations. Ultimately, Justice Herman allowed a set-off of the wife’s retroactive child support obligation against the equalization payment owing by the husband to her.
