When will a court not abuse its discretion in admitting evidence under Evidence Code section 352 of the California Evidence Code?

California, United States of America

The following excerpt is from People v. Morones, D056230, No. SCS214032 (Cal. App. 2011):

Having concluded that the trial court did not abuse its discretion in admitting the evidence under Evidence Code section 352, we need not separately address Morones's claim that to the extent the court based its decision on People v. Walton, supra, 42 Cal.App.4th 1004, and Evidence Code section 1103, it improperly used that statute as "a club to prevent [him] from introducing evidence of the children's violent conduct."
