We find no abuse of discretion here. To show good cause, defendant was required to explain his own actions in the light of all relevant circumstances in a manner that adequately supported his defense. (Sanderson, supra, 181 Cal.App.4th at p. 1340; People v. Thompson (2006) 141 Cal.App.4th 1312, 1317-1318.) Defendant failed to do so. Defendant submitted a blanket denial of all statements made by the officers without placing all of the statements before the trial court.
