When the police violate a suspects Miranda rights, the statement immediately resulting from that violation is inadmissible in the prosecutions case-in-chief. ( Miranda , supra , 384 U.S. at pp. 444-445, 86 S.Ct. 1602.) That violation may also warrant suppression of subsequent statements obtained as a result of the initial violation. ( People v.
