In Leite v. City of Providence, 463 F.Supp. 585, 590, the court stated: "Instead of simply a negligent failure to supervise, the supervising official must have participated in some way in the alleged constitutional deprivation or acted in such a way as to exhibit a 'deliberate indifference' to the deprivation of the plaintiff's constitutional rights."
