In a personal injury action, how have the rules of disclosure been interpreted in the context of post-separation job applications?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from C.D.F.B. v A.G.B, 2022 BCSC 511 (CanLII):

The respondent periodically referenced documents not in evidence (including, for example, his post-separation job applications). He did not produce them, despite his disclosure obligations under the Rules. In the circumstances, I draw an adverse inference and conclude that those documents either do not exist or would not have supported his position: Kern v. Forest, 2010 BCSC 938 at para. 173.
