The following excerpt is from Head et al. v. Moostoos, 1988 CanLII 5022 (SK QB):
As Mr. Justice Halvorson said In Brill v. Murphy (p. 273), current judicial opinion is that all relevant documents must be disclosed and that "limited disclosure of insurance reports to persons affected by the accident would not be contrary to the public interest". Nor would it seem to be in the public interest that one party to litigation have a distinct advantage over the other in preparing his litigation.
