As for the strata’s submission that the owner’s claim is an abuse of process, the courts have found that the commencement by a plaintiff of more than one action against a defendant in relation to the same dispute or matter can be an abuse of process (Lacharity v. University of Victoria Students’ Society, 2012 BCSC 1819, at para. 24).
