With respect to the defendant’s proposed use of the medical records as establishing that his right leg injury was limited to his leg, and did not affect his right hip until October 2016 at the earliest, he notes the limitations that can be placed on such evidence. In particular, he relies upon Edmondson v. Payer, 2011 BCSC 118, aff’d 2012 BCCA 114, as an expression of the limitations of clinical records:
