The Limitation Act describes the periods during which a right to bring an action exists. The limitation period runs from the time the cause of action arises. This occurs when “all elements of the cause of action [have] ‘crystallized’ or ‘accrued’ entitling the plaintiff to commence action: Arishenkoff v. British Columbia 30 B.C.L.R. (4th) 1, 2004 BCCA 299.
