A more recent decision to the same effect is Elliott v. Dobson, [1952] O.W.N. 51 at p. 52: ... It has been held, however, that statements with respect to the future, and expressions of opinion, may in certain circumstances be representations of fact, as, for example, where they are based on existing facts.
