In assessing which of the versions of the frequency and extent of the family violence is most credible, I adopt the direction provided by Justice Armstrong in Sohi v. Sohi, 2015 BCSC 1043 at paras. 96-99. In that case, Armstrong J. adopted the approach described in the often-cited decision in Bradshaw v. Stenner, 2010 BCSC 1398 at para. 187 as follows:
