In Gregson v. Watson, supra, the plaintiff, a factory winder, was paid every Saturday for the number of sets she had wound off during the week ending on the preceding Wednesday. One of the rules of the defendant’s factory in which she worked was that 14 days’ notice in writing was required previous to leaving their employment. It was held upon appeal that, notwithstanding the fortnight’s notice required, the facts justified the finding that the service was weekly.
