Indian Head SchoolDivision No. 19, 1990 CanLII 138 (SCC), [1990] 1 S.C.R. 653, the court addressed the minimum duty of fairness required where an employee's dismissal is in the discretion of the employer. At minimum, the employee must be provided with the reasons for her dismissal and the opportunity to be heard.
