When there is a difference of one vote between the number of ballots and the total of ballots at a general election, does the court consider that no vote should be discounted as a result?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Wrzesnewskyj v. Attorney General (Canada), 2012 ONSC 2873 (CanLII):

Similarly, in Flookes v. Shrake, where in 11 polls there was a difference of one vote between the number of voters and the number of ballots, the court did not consider that the discrepancies had any material effect on the results of the election and no vote was discounted as a result (see Flookes v. Shrake, supra, at para. 75).
