What is the standard of conduct of a solicitor who makes submissions in a personal injury case?

It is unnecessary to reiterate that there is a presumption of good faith (see Valenti v. CPR, 2017 CHRT 25, para. 26 (table)). Especially when the submissions come from a solicitor, a member of a bar and an officer of the court, whose profession is governed by a code of ethics, this person is subject to high standards as regards responsibilities and obligations, which include integrity, honesty and responsible conduct, to name only a few.
