The appellants also referred to the decision of this court in Wightman v. Mattu, [1994] B.C.J. No. 838 (Q.L.) (B.C.S.C.). There, the court held that an oral agreement for the sale and purchase of an unsubdivided portion of a parcel of land was unenforceable.
