I find that the parties respective contributions were for the purposes of the marriage and, the respondent has not met the burden of proof of establishing there was no intention to make a gift: see Pisarski v. Piesik, 2019 BCCA 129 at para. 48. The proceeds of sale of the matrimonial home will be shared equally.
