I think, however, that the additional rights conferred are more than a bare licence since the company has more than a mere right to use the property. As was said in Haven v. Hughes (1900) 27 OAR 1, the additional rights are incidental to the contract and necessary for its beneficial fulfilment. See Halsbury, 2nd ed., vol. 20, pp. 8-20, and vol. 22, pp. 614-16.
