18. The test for whether a strata corporation has met its statutory duty to maintain its CP is one of reasonableness, not perfection. Strata corporations are entitled to reply on advice from professionals, and are not responsible for ineffective work so long as they acted reasonably in the circumstances (see, for example, Kayne v. The Owners, Strata Plan LMS 2374, 2013 BCSC 51 at paragraph 185).
