Having said that, she did get legal advice to the contrary and had two months to think about it before signing. I accept that this was an emotionally difficult time for the applicant, but there is no evidence of the kind of duress as in Rizzo v. Rizzo 2007 (N.S.S.C.) 358 or circumstances which would have led the court to conclude that they were so oppressive as to discredit the entire agreement.
