What is the current state of the law in common law where no damages can be awarded for wrongful birth?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Bevilacqua v. Altenkirk, 2004 BCSC 945 (CanLII):

Very few common law courts have accepted the idea that no damages should be awarded for wrongful birth. Indeed, even in Nevada the courts have carved out exceptions to the No Recovery approach (Greco v. United States, 111 Nev. 405, 893 P.2d 345 (S.C., 1995)).
