What is the test for a "compensatory spousal support" award?

Manitoba, Canada

The following excerpt is from McKenzie v. McKenzie, 2012 MBQB 113 (CanLII):

In this court’s view, this is not an appropriate case for a “compensatory spousal support” award as referenced in Moge v. Moge, 1992 CanLII 25 (SCC), [1992] 3 S.C.R. 813. The respondent states, and this court accepts, that both parties were employed on a full-time basis at the time of marriage, and during the initial years of marriage.
