The family law case itself was determined by way of summary trial. The reasons for judgment in the family law proceeding are cited McIntyre v. McIntyre, 2017 BCSC 782. The family law proceeding covered a wide range of issues including divorce, determination and division of the family property and debt, unequal division of family property and debt by way of adjustments to each parties' notional 50-percent share in consideration of compensation issues, parenting arrangements, child support both retroactive, prospective, and interim with a determination of entitlement for a child having reached an age of majority, the determination of special and extraordinary expenses, spousal support both retroactive and prospective and interim, and the determination of both parties' respective incomes for support purposes with arguments for imputation of income.
