It appears from the reasons in Mackie v. Wolfe that while the psychological personality disorder may have been in existence before the accident, the physical manifestations were not. Even if she suffered from this personality disorder, and as a result, after the accident her injuries were worse than normally expected, that is, she suffered chronic pain for a significantly longer period than some one else, this is still a “thin skull” situation.
