Is there an obligation to seek compensation for the alleged unlawful seizure of private property by the Department of Justice under the Fifth Amendment?

The "Takings Clause" of the Fifth Amendment prohibits both the taking of private property for public use without just compensation and the taking of private property for private use. Armendariz v.
