The following excerpt is from E&R Encino Prop. v. Behdadnia, B224363, No. LC086043 (Cal. App. 2011):
2. Contrary to defendants' representations at oral argument, appellants' briefs did not address any claimed error in the trial court's ruling on defendants' motion to quash service of the summons. Since defendants did not address in their briefs on appeal any argument with supporting authority that there was a defect in service of summons, we treat it as waived and do not consider it.
