What is the test for length of a case?

Prince Edward Island, Canada

The following excerpt is from Ayangma v. Gov. of PEI & Ors., 2005 PESCTD 25 (CanLII):

In my view, Hunt v. Carey, supra, stands for the principle that mere length, “...complex issues of fact and law or...a novel legal proposition...” (paragraph 31) should not stop a case from proceeding. Although the case discussed abuse of process, it did not do so in the context of violation of the rules of pleading.
