Judges have also been held immune for actions far more grievous than those alleged here. In Stump v. Sparkman, supra, 435 U.S. 349, 98 S.Ct. 1099, 55 L.Ed.2d 331, a judge was found immune from suit by a woman whose unknowing and non-consensual sterilization the judge approved.
