In Cannon v. Insurance Corp. of British Columbia, 2005 BCSC 602, the plaintiff became aware of “a terrible snapping sensation in her neck and excruciating pain in the back of her head” when the vehicle in which she was riding was struck. She felt nauseous and faint and was shaky and stunned on exiting the vehicle. She was taken into a store and supplied with a wheel chair. She made no efforts to ascertain the identity of the driver of the other vehicle.
