However, where the possession of items of contraband is proscribed by different statutes, it has been held permissible to convict of two offenses. (People v. Winchell, supra, 248 Cal.App.2d 580, 587, 56 Cal.Rptr. 782--possession of burglars' tools in violation of Penal Code section 466 and possession of a concealable firearm under Penal Code section 12021 is permissible.)
