Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal, 2014 BCSC 1087, in which the court stated (at paragraph 17): “Sections 54, 55 and 56 of the Act impose reporting obligations on employers, workers, and physicians in regard to compensation claims. They are independent of each other. A worker cannot escape an obligation to make the required report by purporting to pass it onto the employer as the petitioner appears to have done.”
