Caro argues that the trial court erred in sustaining multiple prosecution objections and overruling multiple defense objections at trial. We review evidentiary rulings, including ultimate rulings on whether evidence should be excluded as hearsay, for abuse of discretion. ( People v. DeHoyos (2013) 57 Cal.4th 79, 131, 132, 158 Cal.Rptr.3d 797, 303 P.3d 1.) When a hearsay exception requires foundational findings of fact, we review such findings for substantial evidence.
