Section 911.2 requires that personal injury claims against a public entity be filed "not later than six months after the accrual of the cause of action." The date of accrual of a cause of action marks the starting point for calculating the claims presentation period. ( 901; Mosesian v. County of Fresno (1972) 28 Cal.App.3d 493, 500.)
