The following excerpt is from In re Iannitti v. Iannitti, B222328, Los Angeles County Super. Ct. No. YD055401 (Cal. App. 2011):
"The law is well established that '[the] father's duty to support the children does not end with furnishing the mere necessities of life if he is able to afford more. Children are entitled to be supported in a style and condition consonant with the position in society of their parents. [Citation.]' [Citations.]" (Singer v. Singer (1970) 7 Cal.App.3d 807, 813.)
