(People v. Burnell (2005) 132 Cal.App.4th 938, 947) and to prove defendant's knowledge of the gang's criminal activities (People v. Carr (2010) 190 Cal.App.4th 475, 489). Here, the gang evidence was relevant to prove defendant knew about the robberies and aided and abetted them.7
